NEET Result 2017 has been declared on 23rd June 2017. CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) conducts National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). It is a national level entrance test organizes for admission into MBBS and BDS courses. These courses offered by various government and private colleges of India. NEET 2017 score card will be provided through online mode. Here, we are providing the complete information about NEET 2017 Result including merit list, cut-off, counselling, etc.

Candidates can check their NEET results & rank letter through online process only. No score card will be sent to the candidates via offline mode. Candidates can view NEET Result 2017 from the official link (given below). For SC/ST candidates, no separate result is declared. The merit list will be prepared of eligible candidates on the basis of NEET result. Candidates will be called for the NEET 2017 counselling process on the basis of merit list.

Parents’ Meet 2017 – Shillong


Saraswati Online.Com organized a Parent’s meet on 3rd of June which took place in Shillong. The main motive of the PTM was to bridge the gap between the mentors and the parents who are bestowing their trust on the institution by placing the student’s future in our hands. The timing for the PTM was 11.30 am to 2.00 pm. The venue of the meeting was Hotel Pinewood. Nearly 40 parents of the current batch of students attended the meeting. The meet was also graced by the presence of many dignitaries of the medical and academic fields. The guest list included two former students of the institution, Dr. Faster Lindo and Dr. Damswer Passline. The meet was in all coordinated by Mr. Joydeep Dutta. At the onset of the meeting, Dr. Partha Sarathi Ganguly, the Chief Mentor of the institution gave a general overview of the company and the journey of the company from the day of it’s inception and what the company wants to accomplish. He was followed by the an open house where the guardians were asked to openly interact with the Management with whatever queries they had or whatever they wished to share. The PTM was followed by a sumptuous lunch. We are grateful to all the parents who took out time from their life’s busy schedule to take part in the meeting.

2nd Parents’ Meet 2017 – Kolkata


Saraswati Online.Com organized a Parent’s meet on 10th of June which took place in Kolkata. The main motive of the PTM was to bridge the gap between the mentors and the parents who are bestowing their trust on the institution by placing the student’s future in our hands. The timing for the PTM was 11.30 am to 2.00 pm. The venue of the meeting was Amantran Banquet, which is located at Sarat Bose Road, so it did not cause any inconvenience to the parents and they did not have to travel a long way. Parents of 2012-2016 batches of students attended the meeting. The meet was graced by the presence of about 68 parents in all. Dr. Partha Sarathi Ganguly, the Chief Mentor of the institution gave a general overview of the company and the journey of the company from the day of it’s inception and what the company wants to accomplish. He was followed by Dr. Somnath Saha, one of the renowned guests, who shared his experience with SOLCIL. Then, Dr. Surajit Ghosh shared his views on what he thinks needs to be done and what should be avoided in order to gain success in the competitive academic fields. Ms. Shreya Ghosh gave an insight into the education system in Bangladesh. Mr. Atanu Mukherjee, then talked about Saraswati Online Academy, a new initiative of the Saraswati Online group which aims at helping students to attain success in the competitive Joint and Medical Examinations. There was then an Open house where the Parents were allowed to ask questions and discuss about their queries which were clarified by the Saraswati Online officials. The Parent’s meet was then followed by a sumptuous lunch.

We thank all the Parents on behalf of our organization who took time out from their busy schedule to attend the meeting and make the PTM held at Kolkata a successful one.

Best Young Researcher Female Award is proposed to encourage the potential people who are in the Research and the vision of India in their area of excellence. This award is aimed for the people who shine in both the Academic, Scientific and Industrial Research and have opted to serve in Research line within the scope of their academic to intuit the knowledge among the young people.

SIAA2017_04Shriya has been titled as the Best Young Researcher (female) of the year 2017 in SIAA-2017 which happened on 8th April, 2017 after various stages of evaluation and verification subjected to the policies framed by the Awards Committee.

As she has done research on one of the most important issue which is cancer care and therapy and also she did on Role of communication and IT in medical science and research at the age of 20. She was the youngest candidate deserving for this award.  She wants to work for the better healthcare of the society.


Evolving Trends in Medical Education 2016


ETME 2016 was conducted on 5th and 6th Nov, 2016. The partnered universities which participated in this conference were Dali University, Jinan University, Kunming University, Southern Medical University and South-West Medical University. Apart from these colleges from China, we were privileged to have with us, Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre from India and Institute of Medicine, Nepal.



For the first time, Central South University also participated in this conference. Every year, the conference attempts to find solutions to the problems plaguing medical education all over the world, ranging from the pedagogy to be followed in light of startling new discoveries and innovations to the more mundane tasks of managing a large group of students from diverse cultural backgrounds.

NEET 2016 Counselling Date and Schedule

NEET 2016 Counselling

The counselling of NEET 2016 is being conducted by the Medical Council Committee. The 15% All India Quota seats is being filled through NEET Counselling. The first round of the seat allotment has been done. The result, after the completion of the firstround has also released. Now, the second round of the NEET Seat Allotment will be done on September 11, 2016.

NEET 2016 Counselling Eligibility Criteria

Below are the conditions candidates need to fulfil to attend the NEET 2016 counselling

  1. Candidates need to take and qualify either AIPMT (NEET 1) or NEET 2 to attend the counselling.
  2. The candidate must be at least 17 years old on 31 Dec 2016, the maximum age limit is 25 years.
  3. The Candidate must have secured at least 50% marks in PCB or 45% (General PH) or (40% SC / ST / OBC) in 10+2 or equivalent examination

NEET 2016 Counselling Procedure

NEET 2016 counselling will be organised by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Below are the main steps involved in the procedure of counselling

  1. Online Registration
  2. Checking Available choices
  3. Submission of choices
  4. Choice Interchange
  5. Deletion of Choices
  6. Mock Seat allotment
  7. Choice Locking & Printing of locked choices
  8. The above steps are elaborated below in detail form

Online Registration

As the counselling will be governed and organised by MCC, candidates need to visit the official site of MCC and follow the steps given below to get themselves registered.

  1. Access the official site of MCC
  2. Click on the link of “New User Registration Here!!”
  3. A small portal will be displayed on the screen
  4. Enter the Roll Number, Application Number, candidate’s name, Mother’ s name, Date of Birh, Mobile No, E- mail Id, at the end enter security pin and click on the submit column.
  5. Generate your password. There are few things related to password candidate should remember. It must be between 8-13 character long and contain one capital letter (A-Z), – one small letter (a-z), – one numeric (0-9) and one special character (@#$&).
  6. After successful registration, the credentials as available in the database provided by CBSE will appear on the screen.
  7. Candidate needs to select the category, enter mother’s and father’s name.
  8. Change in the candidate’s name, gender and date of birth are not permitted.
  9. Candidate needs to update the complete mailing address ,pin code, phone number including STD, mobile and email etc.
  10. On clicking the submit button, the candidate can see the data entered for verification and confirmation. Once this personal data is Verified and Confirmed, the candidate cannot make any change.
  11. The registration slip will be generated, the candidates are advised to download and take print out of the same.
  12. In case, the candidate forgets the password, it can be retrieved by clicking on “Forgotten password”

Checking Available choices

After registration, candidates need to login using their Id and password to fill the choices. click on “Choice Available” , the systems will retrieve the credentials of the candidate like gender, category, sub-category, date of birth, and eligibility remarks from the candidate’s database as per the Id. Also the choices available will appear on the screen.

Submission of choices

Now the candidates need to select their choices, the option will be available on the right side of the screen. As the candidate will select their choices, the selected items will shift to the left column of the screen. Candidates need to select the “save and continue” to lock the choices whereas in case they wish to leave the menu and go to home page click on “save and go to home page”.

The choices will be shown statewise, course-wise and in alphabetical order of Institutions and courses or alphabetical order of courses and Institutions, etc.

Choice Interchange

The choices can be Interchanged (Swapping) could be carried out by selecting appropriate choices as source and destination to enable their swapping and reorder all the choices.

Deletion of Choices

If the candidate wishes to delete a specific or a group of choices, click on the appropriate box, for deletion of the one choice. Further, if the candidate desires to delete multiple choices, click on the appropriate boxes for deletion and confirm the same. All the unwanted choices will be deleted.

Mock Seat allotment

Based on the preference of the candidate, the choices will be processed and temporary seat allotment will be done. It will help the student to make refine choices.

Choice Locking & Printing of locked choices

After completion of the choice submission, it is mandatory to lock the choices. Choice locking dates are mentioned in Counselling Schedule. By clicking the Choice Lock Button and confirming the same, the choices can be locked. Locked choices cannot be unlocked. Therefore the candidates are advised to fill and lock the choice carefully. In case the candidate fails to lock choices, choices filled in by the candidate will be automatically locked at 5:00 PM of the last date of locking.

On clicking the “Lock my Choices” button, the submitted choices will be displayed on the screen. The candidate is required to confirm before locking of choices. During locking process, the candidate is required to enter the password and then only system proceeds for locking of choices. It is advised to the candidates to take out a print out of the locked choices. After locking the choices successfully, it cannot be altered. At the end log out.

NEET 2016 Counselling – Documents to be produced at the time of Joining

There are some important documents which are needed at the time of joining the institute. All these documents are named below.

  1. Admit Cards of Exam issued by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
  2. Result/ Rank letter issued by CBSE
  3. Date of Birth Certificate (if Metric Certificate does not bear the same)
  4. Class 10th Certificate
  5. Class 10+2 Certificate
  6. Class 10+2 Marks Sheet
  7. Eight (8) Passport size photograph same as affixed on the application form.
  8. Provisional allotment letter generated on-line.
  9. Proof of identity.

70th Independence Day 2016


70th Independence was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect at the abode of Hon’ble Consul General of India, Guangzhou Mr. Y. K .Sailas Thangal. The ceremony started at 9AM in the backyard of their residence with members of Indian Consulate, members of Indian community residing in Guangzhou, students of few universities and a few Chinese nationalities.

To commemorate the sovereignty of our nation, Hon’ble Consul General unfurled the tricolor flag and all in unison sang the national anthem and expressed the joy of our freedom.

6Mr. Y. K. Sailas Thangal welcomed the gathering and reiterated the President’s address to the nation. A short film ‘70th Year Of Independence’ showing 70 initiatives by the Modi Government for people’s welfare highlighting initiative taken by the government with messages from Hon’ble Prime Minister and Hon’ble EAM was also screened.

A lady then sang the National Song of India that awakened everyone’s feelings towards our Mother land. It was followed by another group song performance.


The program concluded with vote of thanks. At the end, Buffet breakfast was provided for everyone who attended the ceremony. As a token of love and concern, the students of Jinan University had a short talk with Hon’ble Consul general, Mr Y. K Sailas Thangal. He spoke to the students about integrity and righteousness.

Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
