Camp JKP (Southwest Medical University)-2019


Saraswati International Education & Welfare Foundation organized a Summer camp for the medical students of SouthWest Medical University at Jyotirmoy Knowledge Park from 3rd August to 16Th August. Twenty medical students were accompanied by two faculties during this fourteen-day camp. During the camp, different workshops like saree drapping, mehendi design, Rangoli making, samosa and dumpling making were held at camp JKP. Also, the students learnt Bengali language, Rabindra sangeet and kathak, a traditional dance form of India. Though the weather was hot and humid, the students visited various places in Kolkata, Delhi and Agra like Indian Museum, Mandarmani Sea beach, Tajmahal, Rajghat, Delhi Fort, India Gate. This summer camp was aimed at cultural exchange as it helped the students to explore cultures, traditions, customs, beliefs, societies, languages ofIndia and much more.
