Duration of MBBS Course in Ukraine

MBBS course in Ukraine is of 5 years and 8 months, including internship period. Of course, the total duration of MBBS study in Ukraine is 6 years. Ukraine Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Education approve the curriculum and put equal emphasis on the theoretical and practical aspect of the study.

The medical courses offered in Ukraine are approved and recognized by Science of Ukraine and Ministry of the health of Ukraine. Diplomas have been approved by the majority of countries – USMLE, MCI, MCC, PMDC, PLAB, SCHS, HPCSA and give the right to practice, subject to the appropriate screening tests established in each country.

Foreign applicants are attracted by versatility of education provided in Ukraine. As per their education system, the students are taught six years for general medicine and only then they specialize. If a person wants to do postgraduate education, he or she has to have a document confirming qualification of Specialist or Master. Medium of instruction is English and Ukrainian languages.
